My convertible

Finally in 1996, I fulfilled one of my very old dream. I bought a 504 convertible, first generation, with the marvellous oblical rear lights and 4 headlights. WON-DER-FUL car it is, definitly. To be highlighted in the automobile History, for sure!
This 1974 white convertible is healthy, which is an absolute necessity if you ever plan to buy one : the rust hasn't attacked it to hard for now, except for the bottom of the 2 doors. The rust is, for all kind of 504, THE real ennemy. Even a nice looking 504 has to be double checked before you decide to buy it!! Cause getting rid of the rust in these cars is a real nightmare, and a costy one!

Of course, the convertible is a little more expensive to use than the sedan, since the parts are getting rare and consequently more and more expensive...
First thing I had to do is the "roof" (I don't know the correct word...), which was really dead. This costed me around 850$.
Anyway, this car is unique, and when I will have the inside redone, it'll be almost perfect!
