As you know, the 504 was produced until 1999 in Argentina... And over there, the 504 has been "revamped" several times! For more information you can go on the "the 1999 504" page on ths site... But here, I offer you a large set of photos taken, once again by my wife Violette in 1999. You can see on these 3 shots the evolution of the back of the argentinian 504. Unfortunately I don't know the years of each revamping... But the differences are huge ! The first one looks like the european one, the second is more US like with ist big bumpers and bigger lights, whereas the 3rd is just the argentinian style, as it was produced in 1999! Which one do you prefer??

Daniel presents its beautiful 504 1971 which engine is 1600cc for 87 HP. Daniel recalls us that in Argentina, the 504 production started in year 1969 with lighter engines of 1657cc(amazing precision!) and 76 HP(again!). Peugeot increased the power of their cars the year after in 1970... and made Daniel happy! |

Only 21 but already owner of a 504. This is Alejandro writing from the federal maintown and studying economy. Notice the sport steering wheel and the US style headlights. Specific mention for the dashboard which seems to be a Jaeger one. Is that correct? No doubt Alejandro is quite successful with its 504, 1970 when saturday nights fever raises in Argentina. |

I let Kronoman directly talk about his great 504 : "Here is my car, my father give it to me, was 20 years without run, because my father buy a Dodge Challenger after it, and store the 504 on the garage. It has 50000+/- km real, 1.6 engine, 4 speed on the wheel, is made on the year 1970, my father buy it from the dealer when it was 0 km. The color is Blue Caribe (is the original paint, and the original rubbers too, now I replace it with Goodyear GPS2 for use it on the highway, he still can run! (150/160 km/h aprox)It has all the luxury options [motorola radio, heat, cool, ren interior seats, safety belts, 'techo corredizo' (how say it in english?), etc, but the small engine.I must work on the engine to give more power, maybe put a Hemi 440 engine [the engine from the Dodge, because the Dodge is crashed)?Now it do about 160/170 km/h, because it has a four barrel carburator (Holley) and a little touch on the engine, with double escapeI add the mirrors on the sides and the CD player with 6 amplifiers and other things. I have the manual and all the documentation." Impressive!!! |

In the shade of the trees, please admire the perfect shape and the pure white alloy wheels of his 504 GL model 1983, which allows a 5 speeds gearbox. Backside gently parked a 504 SL year 1980, 4 speed gearbox but full luxury options such as leather, aircon,etc. All originals. Even the bumpers. And one more time get an eye on the alloy wheels. Aren't they smart? |

This exclusiv 504 taxi from Argentina has been shot by Corinna and Dirk from Germany. They are telling me how enthusiastics they are about Peugeots' but their favourite number is the 404. I am not jealous for it is an excellent car also. Brand solidarity put them into shooting this cab for 504.org. Many thanks to this fellow companions for this specific 504 that was missing on the site until their nice move. |

During a 1 week stay in Haiti, I only found one 504... but it was a Dangel (4WD)! OK, it was not really in perfect shape, but still, I had found a 504 down there too!!
