This incredible photo has been taken by my brother Pol
in Syria! Waow, this is what I call a real Hit! Could anyone imagine
such a 504 would exist in the world?? |
This is yet another hit!!! Look at this pick up closely, and you'll notice that it is a double cabin 504!! This fantastic photo was taken by Norbert Kansy (thanks again!) in China. Norbert is a 504 fan, and he got the excellent reflex to take a photo of this very rare specimen... This double cabin seems to be a local model distributed by Peugeot in China, it is the same base as the usual pickup, except that the loading part has been shortened to fit a 4 door cabin! The rear load-cabin deck is an option. |
In Indonesia, there are very few 504, but still, you can find some very interesting examples... Such as this one, in a flashy yellow with green bumpers, and you can also notice the "slick" tires, directly coming for Formula one... Maybe a little bit exagerated ?! |
I found this very nice 504 GL while surfing on the web. It belongs to Wanda Setiadi, who visibly likes his car! Dated from 1980, this 504 has been nicely modified : alloy wheels, teinted glasses, right rear mirror, and of course, it has been dropped! I don't know about the engine, so Wanda, if you visit this page, tell me more about your car! |
Following his friend Wanda(above), Indarto sends us a picture of his 504 1975, also painted in orange(must be fashionable in Java), 16' alloy wheels, with Renault 18 turbo radiator grille, with extra lights on. Indarto is also member of the Peugeot Club Bandung(west Java), and webmaster of it. He had one precision for every 504 fan: there are a lot in Indonesia. Sounds like an invitation!!! |
Boni is living in Malang, East Java, and drives his 504 GLI 1978 every day to go to the office. He is proud to mention that he never had troubles with it although most of the pieces are genuine. I am not surprised still happy for him. I have chosen this picture to say "hello" to this far away friend and his children Io and Anding who really like the car. I am not forgetting Ioni, his beloved wife. A picture of happiness on 504.org. |
A good friend of mine, Nicolas, went 3 weeks in Asia, and here is the only 504 he met during his trip. In a little village of Vietnam, he saw this very rare example of Vietnamese 504... I thank him for this incredible shot he did for my site! |
Yes! The 504 can also be found in the far east, I mean Japan !!! I found this one on Matsubayashi's site (see my links). Of course, the 504s are very rare in that part of the world, but still, there are some samples ! |
This photo was given to me by Priscilla (first beauty on the left). She went to Syria and Jordania with 3 friends, and guess what car they used as a taxi to cross the desert between Aman and Petra??? Of course, a 504 station wagon! Notice the "Petra" written on the door (as a proof...)! |
Unfortunately I have no information on the first lebanese 504 placed on my website. I only know that it belongs to Tony, and I sincerely invite him to tell me more about it. In any case thanks for the blue sky and the magnificent sedan with the Peugeot logo on the side. |
Yet another country where the 504 did settle its wheels! The nice sample of 504 GL has been sent to me by its owner, XXX. |
This photo was taken in Istambul, where my brother Pol had to change the clutch of his 504... To reach the garage, he first had to tow this 504 with a friend's 505 during 200km... and to cross the entire city of Istanbul! And believe me, driving in Istambul is a terrific experience, but crossing it while towing or being towed is something unbelievable! |
Josef from Hagen in Germany is giving us a double ride. One in the time space, the other on the world globe. This picture has been shot in 1976. It shows a 504 convoy in Eastern Turkiye heading to Teheran, Iran. You can find another picture of that trip in the Yugoslavian section, 504 in Europe. Once again, there is no comment to make on the capability of this car. Congratulations for the picture: the atmosphere is amazing. |
